DEAR CONFUSED IN COLLEGE:
It really depends on if the couple will put in the effort to make it work. Long distance relationships are similar to the life of a flower. If you spend time nurturing and caring for the relationship, it will flourish and stand strong. However, if you neglect your significant other it may turn withered. God would be the vase in this analogy, holding you both together and keeping your relationship alive.
